KATHLEEN FORANT AGE: 79 MILTON Dorothy Garbo, Izenberg) passed away peacefully on October 8, 2017. Beloved wife of Louis Garbo, daughter of Rosa and Leon Izenberg, mother and mother-in- law of Beth Garbo, Lisa Garbo Price, and Barry Price. Loving grand- mother of Sarah Price and Julia Price. Dear sis- ter and sister-in-law of Saul Izenberg, Charlotte and Harvey Ruttenberg, and Sarah and Bernie Victor. She will be great- ly missed by her adopted family, Amal and Mas- soud Azar and their two daughters.

She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews, and dedicated caregivers who were always by her side giving her strength and support, and all those who loved her. Funeral services will be taking place on Tuesday, October 10 at 11:00 am at the Ohavi Zedek Syna- gogue, 188 North Pros- pect Burlington Ver- mont. DOROTHY GARBO BURLINGTON, VT ROBIN FISHER SHAWLINSKI 1968 2008 been 9 years since you passed, but it feels like an eternity. I will forever have this empty void in my heart for you that I can never replace. This past year has been especially hard, wanted nothing more than to hear your voice. I will Love You forever. Rachel Mom, Dad and Family In Loving Memory Of Virginia (Penders) Bouvier, of Colchester, passed peace- fully at her residence Thursday afternoon, Oc- tober 5th surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Burlington on February 25, 1926, she was married on April 2, 1945 in Little Rock, Ar- kansas to Harold F. Bou- vier who predeceased her on May 6, 1986. She was one of five children brought up in the Lake- side neighborhood of Burlington by her late parents Marion (Lam- bert) and George Polworth Penders. She was the last of her family being predeceased by her sisters Penny and Betty and brothers Douglas and Steve. A devout Catholic she never missed Mass, in- cluding every Holy Day.

She was a very special Mom to Harold Miles and his wife, Mary, Doug- las W. Bouvier and his wife, Jennifer of Milton, Jolene Bouvier Atherton who died on December 5, 2002, Kathleen Bouvier Smith and her husband, Larry which who she shared a home with for the last 16 years and Timothy H. Bouvier and his wife Christine of Grand Isle. Grandmoth- er of Tracy and Michelle Bouvier, Charmaine Blaine Bouvier, Daniel Atherton and his wife Angela and their daugh- ters Samantha and Alex- andra, Jennifer Ather- ton, James Smith and his wife Laura, Jonathan and Rebecca Smith and John, Andrew, Thomas and Caroline Bouvier. She is also survived by too many other great- grandchildren to count.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to at- tend a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of life at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 11th at Holy Cross Church, Colchester. Burial will follow in Richmond and at reception will be held in the Church Hall. (Davenport) Gauvin of South Bur- lington, died suddenly Thursday evening, Octo- ber 5th at the UVM Medi- cal Center. She was 63.

Born in Burlington, VT to the late Harry D. Davenport and Beverly (Muir) she was raised in Vermont and graduated from high school in Con- necticut. Ms. Gauvin retired from the University of Vermont where she had been employed as an ad- ministrative assistant for over 25 years. After her retirement she went on to work with the VNA of Chittenden Grand Isles Counties as a Licensed Nursing Assistant for the past several years where she found her calling.

A kind and compassion- ate woman, she truly en- joyed her work in caring for the elderly and those with dementia and sup- ported the Association. Ms. Gauvin was a talented artist enjoying photography, painting, and crafts. She liked to travel and had a special fondness for Coastal Maine and had enjoyed retreats at the Marie Joseph Spiritual Center in Biddeford, Maine. Through the years she was a foster mother to multiple chil- dren and taught Reli- gious Education at St.

John Vianney Church. Above all her greatest joy and love was her family, especially her sons and being with her grand- daughters. She is survived by her sons, Peter T. Gauvin and his wife Cora of Wilbra- ham, MA and Michael E. Gauvin and his wife, Vik- ki of South Burlington and her grandchildren, Bowen and Nora Gauvin.

She is also survived by her many dear friends, extended family, and her half-sister, Becky Fox. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Ser- vices in celebration of life at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 12th at Ready Funeral and Cremation Service South Chapel, 261 Shel- burne Road, Burlington. Interment will follow at New Mt. Calvary Cem- etery in Burlington.

GAUVIN Malcolm W. Ward, 90, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 5, 2017 at The Manor in Morrisville. A graveside service with military honors will be held Sat- urday, October 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant View Cemetery. Faith Funeral Home is assist- ing with arrangements.

WARD William George Strouse died on October 7, 2017 after a gracious and faith-filled journey with colon cancer. Will was born on De- cember 24, 1981 in Bur- lington, VT to James T.

and Margaret Mary Strouse. He was the youngest of six children, all of whom doted on him from the very beginning. Will graduated from Burlington High School in 2000 and the Catholic University of America, in Washington DC, in 2005 with a degree in Civ- il Engineering. While in DC, Will met the love of his life, Brit- tany Marie Isabelle. Will and Brittany married on August 6, 2016 in New- port, Vermont.

Will loved life and one of his biggest joys was the gatherings he and Brittany would have for family and friends. One of most recent joys was the restoration of his and home, a 200-year-old Vermont farmhouse. Will continually served to remind us all of our blessings in life, particu- larly one of great- est He enriched many lives through his contagious energy, humor, gener- osity, faith, and sports- manship (he was an avid hockey player). Will is survived by his loving wife, Brittany Marie Isabelle Strouse; his parents James T. and Margaret Mary Strouse; his brothers and sisters and their families, James and Gabriella Strouse (Theresa, James), Mar- garet Strouse (Madeline, Sophia, Mariela), Sarah and Daniel Curry (Ame- lia, Elizabeth), Joseph and Stacy Strouse (Mary, Irene), and Elizabeth and Bryan Connolly (Lillian, William, Jack, Caroline); his parents-in-law Con- stance and Richard Isa- belle; his sisters-in-law Kristin Isabelle Messina, and her husband Nicho- las, and Lauren Isabelle; and numerous aunts, un- cles, cousins, and friends.

Will was pre-deceased by his grandparents as well as his infant brother, John Robert Strouse. The Strouse and Isa- belle families have enor- mous gratitude for the love and kindness of family, friends, and com- munity members who came together to support them throughout treatment.
