Trumper, 65, of Juniper Ridge died from complications associated with leukemia, on Thursday, July 13, 1995, in Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. He was born in Suffern, N.Y., on Feb.

19, 1930, the son of Mel-vin and Viola (Wackwitz) Trumper. He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served with the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant. Jan. 16, 1954, he was married in Nutley, N.J., to Patricia A.

Stein-macher. He was employed for 29 years at General Electric, retiring in 1988 as manager of weapon development engineering. He was also chairman of the American Defense Preparedness Association for many years. Jay found many hours of enjoyment working with his computer. He was an avid skier, a member of the Lake Champlain Yacht Club and Rocky Ridge Golf Club.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. The administration had requested $21.1 billion. 1995 energy and water spending is $20.4 billion.

Independent Vt. Rep. Bernard Sanders: Nay Foreign aid appropriations: The House voted 333-89 for a bill to provide $12 billion in 1996 for foreign operations, export financing and related programs. That is about $2.8 billion less than the administration requested and $1.6 billion less than the 1995 level. Sanders: Nay Senate Regulatory overhaul meat and poultry Inspection: The Senate voted 49-5 1 against an amendment to the regulatory overhaul bill that would have exempted federal rules on meat and poultry inspection inspection from the risk assessment and cost-benefit analysis requirements of the bill.

Republican Sen. James Jeffords: Yea; Democratic Sen. Patrick Leahy: Yea. She was born in Burlington on Jan. 29, 1909, the daughter of Carl and Ida (Blow) Livingston. Irene was a member of St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church. She had been a volunteer Gray Lady at Mary Fletcher Hospital.

Ida M. (Myers) Stager, 74, of Paterson died in St. Joseph Hospital on July 13, 1995. She was born in Burlington, on April 11, 1921, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Cushion) Myers. "Sunny" Stevens, 66, of Waitsfield, formerly of Burlington, died unexpectedly Saturday, July 15, 1995, following a prolonged illness. She was born in Cambridge, on Aug. 22, 1928, the daughter of Waldemar and Signe (Johnson) Olson. She was married in Everett, on Sept. 29, 1951, to Robert M.

Stevens, and together they owned and operated Business Systems of Vermont. Loved by her family and friends deeply, her strength was in her capacity to love and give unconditionally. A loving wife, mother and best friend, she was active in the Girl Scouts of America and the Zonta Group. She will be remembered for her spunk and zest for life. She is survived by her husband, Robert M.
