Arrangements are by LaVigne Funeral Home, 132 Main Winooski. LESTINA D. BIDWELL Lestina D. Bidwell, 98, died Friday, May 24, 1996, in Burlington Health and Rehabilitation Center following a lingering illness. She was born in Waitsfield on March 24, 1898, the daughter of Dr.

George S. and Louise (Bartlett) Bidwell. Her father was a wellknown and respected general practitioner in the Waterbury area. Miss Bidwell was a graduate of Syracuse University, where she earned her bachelor of science in social work. She was a social worker in New York City for 44 years, managing an office and staff of 500 people.

She retired to Oswego, N.Y., in 1961 and moved back to her native Vermont in 1978. She was a member of AAUW. Miss Bidwell had been a resident of Converse Home since 1978. She had many friends there and was known for her generosity and kindness to all. She is survived by her good and faithful friends, Joslyn Becker, Zelta Norcross and Gail Smith; as well as her friends at Converse Home.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 6, 1996, at 11 a.m. at Converse Home, 272 Church Burlington. Burial will be in the family Hope Cemetery, Waterbury. Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home, 71 S. Union in charge of arrangements.

MARION LITTLE CROWLEY Marion Little Crowley, 95, died Wednesday, May 29, 1996, in Converse Home in Burlington. The daughter of George E. and Susan (Mead) Little she was born March 29, 1901, in Burlington. Marion graduated from Burlington High School in 1919 and the University of Vermont in 1923. She taught in elementary schools in Cabot, Rochester and Burlington, and in East Hartford, where she retired in 1965.

Since her return Vermont, she had been a faithful member of The Cathedral Church of St. Paul. Marion was devoted to young children, and taught first, second and third grades for more than 40 years.

Her special love was her husband, "Jack," and their many friends in Connecticut and Vermont. She is survived by her sister, Lucene L. Pooley of Novato, her brother, George E. Little Jr. of Burlington; her nieces and nephews, Susan B.

Cottrell of St. Helena, Ray Torrey Bates of Novato, James E. Little of Burlington, Thomas A. Little of Shelburne, William G. Little of Altamont, N.Y., and Margaret L.

Cicchetti of Burlington; 13 grandnieces and grandnephews; and one great-grandniece. She was predeceased by her brother Edward M. Little; and her sister Bertha L. Larabee. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 3, 1996, at 11 a.m.

in The Cathedral Church of St. Paul. The family will meet with friends at the church following the service. Burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery. Gomo, 82, a longtime resident of Cambridgeboro, died late Wednesday, May 29, 1996, in Fletcher Allen Health Care, Burlington. Born in Bakersfield, June 26, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Vyvian and Ruth (Giddings) Page. She married L. Glenn Gomo, Jan. 11, 1931, in Franklin.

He predeceased her July 13, 1986. Ethelyn was a member of Cambridge United Church, Cambridge Senior Citizens and the former Mansfield Chapter 45, O.E.S., of Jeffersonville, now affiliated with Johnson Chapter 65, O.E.S. She leaves her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Raymond Wright of Shelburne; two grandchildren, Gary Wright and his wife, Mary, of Vergennes, and Laurie Wright of Shelburne; one sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Frederick Bengtson of Middletown, two sisters-in-law, Ruth B. Page of Cambridge and Antonia Page of Underhill; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three brothers, Clair Page in 1980, Foster Page and Keith Page, both in 1986; and by a sister, Barbara Page, in infancy.

Services will be held Sunday, June 2, 1996, at 2 p.m. in Cambridge United Church with the Rev. Craig Bensen and the Rev. Sidney Lambert co-officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Cambridge.

Memorials may be made to the Cambridge United Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 299, Cambridge, Vt. 05444. Friday, May 31, 1996 ty Vt. 05402 WINOOSKI Peter Perrino, 79, passed away Thursday, May 30, 1996, after a heart-breaking battle with cancer.

His last days were spent at home and at the Vermont Respite House surrounded by family members, close friends, and his two beloved dogs. Peter born in Winooski on July 11, 1916, to the late John Perrino and Theresa Leogrande Perrino Trono. PETER PERRINO He attended local schools and worked in the Star Bakery, owned by his stepfather, John Trono, before joining the U.S. Navy in November 1943. He attended Cooks and Bakers School in the Navy and was honorably discharged as a 2nd Class petty officer in February 1946.

Following his discharge, he owned and operated Marcotte Brothers Pharmacy for several years, then went to work for General Electric Co. as the head of maintenance. He remained at G.E. for 27 years, retiring Aug. 1, 1976.

Peter was an avid golfer and bowler. He was a former member of Rocky Ridge Country Club Wilcox Cove Golfcourse, and achieved a hole in one at each course in August 1984 and April 1993. Peter was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, sense of humor and He was loved by all who knew him and will be sorely missed. He was a member of St.

Stephen's parish and the Knights of Columbus. Peter is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Pauline (Lavigne) Perrino, whom he married in Winooski on Sept. 2, 1940; his loving children, son, Peter and wife, Adrienne, of Highgate, and daughfer, Corrine and her husband, Richard Wadhams of Burlington; five grandchildren, Celeste (Perrino) and her husband, Rob Walker, of Rutland, Faith (Perrino) and her husband, Scott Dubois, of PROFESSIONAL ANNOUNCEMENTS The Shelburne Veterinary Hospital wishes congratulations and good luck to Dr. Paula who is leaving after 9 outstanding We years welcome of Dr. professional Ross association.

Morin, 100, of Derby Line passed away in Newport on Wednesday, May 29, 1996. She was born in Stanstead, Quebec, on Sept. 9, 1895, the daughter of Alfred and Herculine (Dragon) Morin. She is survived by several nieces and nephews; grand- and great-grandnieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Jeannette Buckner.

Friends may call at ConverseRushford Funeral Home in Newport on Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary Star of the Sea in Newport on Saturday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Forrest Rouelle.

Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Stanstead. Arrangements by Converse-Rushford Funeral Home. LEROY M. STURGES died Wednesday, May 29, 1996, in Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington.

LeRoy Munson Sturges, 90, He was born in Norwalk, on Feb. 28, 1906, the son of Clifford and Anna (Moore) Sturges. He married Isabel Nichols in 1927. Isabel predeceased him in 1990. "Roy" was a Willys-Studebaker automobile dealer in Mount Vernon, N.Y., for 35 years.

He retired in 1962 to South Kent, until his move to Shelburne in 1985. He was a member of the Young at Hearts of Shelburne. Until he became ill and moved to Terrace, he attended Birchwood, Congregational Church with his dear friend, Polly Benning. He is survived by his loving daughter, Priscilla, and son-in-law Ernest Hoechner of South Burling- NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with Article III of the Bond Resolution July 1, 1977 for the above-described Bonds, that the following Bonds, representing $5,000 principal amount, have been selected for redemption on July 1, 1996: 118 Bonds will be redeemed at par.
