Military Wedding For Ensign Zider, Miss Beck Roberts, Missy Spreter, Nancy Lee and Betsy Gifford. The attendants wore long gowns of pink and orchid cotton wallpaper print with high ruffled necklines and short puffed sleeves. They wore pink rippledj hats and carried colonial bouquets. Mrs. Zider graduated from Spaulding High School in 1971 and Colby Junior College, New London, N.H., in 1973. Her husband graduated from Baldwin High School in 1969 and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, in 1972. He is an operations officer on the USCGC Spar, stationed in South Portland, Maine.

The Rev. L. F. Moon officiated at the double ring military wedding in the Congregational Church. Mrs.

David Reid was organist and her daughter Betsy was the pianist. Soloists were Constance Westcoat and Betsy and John Gilford. The bride wore an organza over taffeta gown trimmed with nottingham lace. The A-line skirt had a wide satin sash and full sweep train edged with a lace ruffle. She wore a white rippled brim picture hat and carried a bouquet of light and dark purple pansies, pink roses and baby's breath.
