Howard Family Service Names Day Activities Coordinator Brooke Lockwood has recently joined the staff of the Howard Family Service Center as coordinator of the Day Activities program. In her capacity as coordinator, Ms. Lockwood will be assisting the Day Activities members with development of social, recreational, arts and crafts, and occupational therapy projects. The Day Activities program was organized during the summer months by a small group of former mental hospital patients and mental health professionals and its rapid development to a membership of 40 led the Howard Family Service to employ a coordinator. Currently the Day Activities program is open on Wednesday afternoons at the Howard Family Service Center, 260 College St.
