University Band Going to Springfield On Wednesday. November 23, the University of Vermont band, numbering numbering CO musicians, will leave Burlington Burlington for Springfield over the Rutland I DflMrnurf in rifval part tfjrVrf in the 12:19 train. Upon arriving at Sprinsficld the band will proceed to the Hotel Worthy, where they will make their headquarters. A parade ha3 been scheduled as well as a concert concert in the Hotel Worthy. Conductor Joseph F. Lechnyr. made the statement yesterday that this year's organization is the best band ever assembled at the University, from i both a marching and concert stand-j stand-j stand-j point. as i;apxain w. v. i;aiun, wno is ' varsity coach as well as commander of ! the band, will be with the football ! squad for the game with Springfield. Lt. J. D. Frederick of the military 'department will accompany the band 1 as commanding officer.
